These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all services, courses, programmes, and the website operated by STAC Training Centre Sdn. Bhd. (“STAC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By registering for our courses, using our website, or participating in our programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

  • Acceptance of Terms

    By using our website, registering for a course, or engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you are using our services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

    Acceptance may be indicated by checking an “I Agree” box, completing registration, or continuing to use our website or services.

  • Description of Services

    STAC provides professional training, certification programmes, and related educational services. These may be delivered in-person, online, or hybrid, depending on the course. Our services are open to individuals, students, employees, and corporate participants who meet the respective course requirements.

  • Eligibility
    • Participants must be 18 years old or above to enrol, unless otherwise specified.
    • Certain courses may require specific qualifications, work experience, or prerequisites, which will be stated in the respective course information.
  • Registration and Accounts

    Some services may require account creation or registration. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
    • Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. STAC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information or breaches these Terms.
  • Fees and Payment
    • All course fees and payment terms are stated in the course materials or official communication.
    • We accept payments via bank transfer only.
    • For claimable programmes under the HRDC SBL Khas Scheme, employers may submit claims in accordance with HRDC guidelines.
    • If an employer or individual is not covered under HRDC, payments must be made directly to STAC’s designated bank account.
    • Late or incomplete payments may result in suspension of participation or denial of certification.
  • Refunds, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
    • Cancellations
      • Cancellations must be submitted in writing through the participant’s employer or HR representative.
      • All refund matters, if applicable, are subject to HRDC’s claim and refund policy, not STAC’s. STAC does not issue refunds directly to participants.
    • Withdrawals and Rescheduling
      • Companies requesting to withdraw or defer participation must submit a written request. Approval will be at STAC’s discretion, based on course policy and availability.
  • Course Attendance and Participation
    • Participants are expected to attend all sessions and complete all required assessments to qualify for certification.
    • Repeated tardiness, absence without notice, or misconduct may result in disqualification without refund.
    • Participants must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and peers always.
  • Intellectual Property
    • All course materials, training content, and resources provided by STAC remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
    • You may use these materials solely for personal learning and may not copy, share, distribute, or reproduce them without written permission.
    • Any user-generated content submitted (e.g., assignments or feedback) may be used by STAC for internal training or quality improvement purposes, but ownership remains with the creator.
  • Code of Conduct

    All participants are expected to:

    • Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
    • Refrain from any form of cheating, harassment, or abuse.
    • Follow online class etiquette and use appropriate language. STAC reserves the right to remove any participant who breaches these rules, without refund.
  • Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
    • STAC provides training services to enhance skills and knowledge but does not guarantee any employment or career outcomes.
    • While we strive for accuracy, STAC is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or third-party content used in training materials.
    • We are not liable for interruptions, delays, or technical issues beyond our control.
    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, STAC’s total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the course in question.
  • Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold STAC, its directors, employees, and partners harmless from any loss, damage, or claims arising from your misuse of our services, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

  • Termination

    STAC may suspend or terminate your participation or account if you:

    • Breach these Terms;
    • Engage in misconduct.
    • Fail to pay required fees. Upon termination, you may lose access to course materials, and no refund will be provided unless required by law.
  • Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. In case of disputes, parties shall first attempt to resolve matters amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

  • Changes to Terms

    STAC reserves the right to update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website or communicated through email. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

  • Miscellaneous
    • Severability: If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
    • Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the full agreement between you and STAC regarding the use of our services.
    • Force Majeure: STAC is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
